Dr. Dog in the house...well in the park at least.

In a mini-festival atmosphere, Philly musicians Dr Dog played to a large crowd of roughly 2000 in Rittenhouse Square. It was nice seeing the park used for something that really brought the people out in droves. The crowd was a mix of teenage hipsters, middle-aged professional types and burnt out old hippies. Families, skaters, ravers, homeless, etc. It was a good blend. Not too many people were boozing it up which was surprising to me. The music was harmonic and rhythmic! A good time was had by all. The park will be having more free musical events over the next 3 Wednesdays.
